A Prince: In Real Life and in Drama

As if to prove that my movie and drama collection were not enough, I recently hooked up with another Jang Geun Suk Korean Drama. It's called "Hong Gil Dong" released in 2008.

Sukkie Oppa was not Hong Gil Dong in here, though, but he's one of the main characters of the story, playing the role of Lee Chang Hwi, an exiled prince who returned to his land to rightly claim his crown.

I can't wait to share the rest of the story, but I have only managed to watch the first one-hour-and-seventeen-minute episode, and still downloading the rest of the episodes 7 - 24.

I found the complete set of episodes in YouTube, thanks to eternalkp for sharing it. Below is the very first episode of this robinhood-like comedy drama. Feel free to follow the rest in YouTube, or better yet, you can subscribe to eternalkp for more.

The episodes I found were not subbed, but it's nothing to worry, because I also found the complete and perfect subtitles just minutes after finding the videos. Credits and thanks to Written in the Heavens Subbing Squad. I couldn't find any other words to describe their free subs than that - written in the heavens!

Here's another for to all Asia Prince addicts out there! Go grab your dosage of episodes now!

I've Met Prince JKS!

Yes, I did!

Well, that was when I won a round of the game that I made myself (chuckles).

I have developed this little mini game as a partial requirement for my Object Oriented Programming subject. The game was like a maze, with a little touch of puzzle. The instruction says:
"Flame wants to meet the Prince of Asia. Will you be able to show her the way?"

The ending of the game was me finally meeting him. It was not much of a game as it was developed over pressured time, but I was able to complete it by just thinking of him. He really seems to provide me with much inspiration, which I do need these days.

맞아! I am proud to say that my very first Java program was a tribute to him (smiles).

In the mean time, I'll just go on waiting for the day when I can trully meet him.

My First Love?

Of course he's not my first love. It would be unbelievable at my age of 25 (which happens to be the same with him). But if there's such thing as a celebrity first love, then, he is my first love.

I'm not into showbiz since the beginning of time. Movies, dramas, and the like were just plain entertainment to me. All the top celebrities in the world could walk past right in front of me, and all the people around me could shout their throats out, but I won't even bother a bit. To me, celebrities were nothing more than ordinary people I see everyday. I would admire them for a moment for their wits, their faces, their voices, their moves, and then all of it would be carried away by the wind, all forgotten. But one day, one admiration stayed, and was not blown away.

And this is how it all started.... the start of my rapidly growing admiration towards the Prince of Asia - Jang Geun Suk.
